- Conditions: The hottest, steamiest, and wettest time of the year. Expect heavy, brief “pop-up” afternoon thunderstorms.
Fall (September – November)
- Temperatures: Highs start in the upper 80s degree F in September and cool to the mid-70s degree by November. Lows drop comfortably into the 60s degree F.
- Conditions: The first half of fall is still warm and humid, while late fall becomes cooler and drier. September is typically the rainiest and most active month for the Atlantic hurricane season.
Winter (December – February)
- Temperatures: Highs in the low to mid-70s degree F and chilly evenings ranging from the upper 40s to low 50s degree F.
- Conditions: The driest and mildest months of the year, making it highly comfortable for outdoor theme parks and walking around the city.
- Highlights: Best time for surfing with strong southern swells.
- Weather: Hottest and most humid, with high chances of rain/hurricanes. Note: Risk of storms makes early fall (September) less ideal for beach days.
Fall (October – November): The Sweet Spot
